Captain Fantastic Sam Frizzel, and his superb Force squad showed the character that has been evident in their league campaign all season by producing an excellent performance last night at the Greenyards. Down 14-5 at the half, they turned up the heat and started to find their ’Green Groove’ as they scored 3 tries without reply to secure the points and crown themselves very worthy winners of the inaugural ‘reborn’ BJL.

Tries from Fergus Bell (2) Fraser Anderson and the returning Cian Riddell saw the young Greens over the line, with a couple of conversions thrown in for good measure. However this was never about the individual, it was another complete squad performance from a group of lads who play for each other as much as themselves, something which when they are on song, makes them an irresistible ‘Force’.
