Hawick RFC Announcement

Hawick RFC would like to confirm that as a result of an ongoing review into current coaching and player development, the contracts of both Matty Douglas (Head Coach) and Lewis Bertram (Forwards Coach), will not be renewed at the end of the current season.

A decision on the coaching structure for season 2024/25 will be made when this review is completed.

The roles of the remaining members of the coaching team, Graham Hogg (Backs Coach) and Matt Landels (Hawick Force Coach) will be under consideration within the new structure.

This has been a very difficult decision for the club, and not one that has been taken lightly.

We would like to thank both Matty and Lewis for their dedication and hard work during their tenure at the club, which played a significant part in the success achieved over the last two years.
