A tremendous all round performance by the Hawick Force squad today as they came through their pool unbeaten, to run out winners of the Hawick Linden 7’s tournament with victory in the final over  Haddington 17-7.

Earlier wins over Gala YM (43-0), Walkerburn (71-0) and following a cracking tie, the host Hawick Linden (27-14), were followed by a measured and controlled performance in a closely fought final.

In the Shield Final the hosts Hawick Linden had a comprehensive victory over local rivals Hawick Quins 38-0.
