What a fantastic afternoon at the Unified Rugby Tournament held at Mansfield Park on Sunday. Hosted by the Borders Clan, with five teams taking part, these being Hawick, Fife, Strathmore, the Borders and Edinburgh, and our roving photographer managed to catch the action, (images on our Facebook page).

As always a very inspiring and enjoyable afternoon was spent by those taking part and those of us spectating. To see the friendship, sportsmanship and teamwork on display, makes for a very special occasion. Many congratulations to the Fife Clan- Unified Rugby for winning the ‘Spirit of Rugby’ Award, and to Bradley Sinclair who picked up the player of the tournament award.

There were some fantastic tries run in by all teams, with no small measure of skill on display. Hawick RFC look forward to welcomeing back our Clan friends very soon……we’ll done all. 💚🏉
