Tynedale RFC provided the opposition for Hawick’s second pre-season friendly at Mansfield Park. After a hard fought and relatively even first half, when the Greens turned round 10-7 ahead, following tries from Jae Linton and Nicky Little, the second half saw the Hawick lads started to find their rhythm and play some excellent high tempo rugby. Further tries followed in the second half with Jae Linton crossing again, a fine brace from Morgan Tait, and one each from Stuart Graham and Charlie Welsh. The Greens will now turn their attention to their trip south to play a Tri-tournament against Fylde And Sale next week.
